Hey everyone, I made a separate tumblr page for Branded Suns, a visual novel rpg game I will be working on.

If you are interest, go check it out. I will be posting process work and the like. It’s still in the early stages of development, so you will be seeing a lot of in process work before it’s final completion.

Also, you may check out my Patreon as well! This project will take a while to complete since I work full-time retail, but if you donate even a dollar, you get to see some of the behind-the-scenes kind of work I make, plus you can participate in a monthly raffle for a free art commission.

Thanks! :D

Okay, so I'm trying to build a customized mm in renpy, and I want my buttons to not move when idle, but then move towards the center. Similar to Y's: Memories of Celceta main menu. Is there a way to fix an image in renpy up against the window's edge? Thanks in advance.

Hello! ^_^

So what you’re looking for is to change the button’s position when the player’s mouse hovers over it, right? You can do this using an imagemap or an image button.

Imagemap method: Define a hotspot position for the hover state of the button that is different from the ground and idle states (so that the hover state’s hotspot is more towards the center). In the hover state image for the imagemap, you would make the text for the button in the position you want (more centered than in the ground and idle states).

Image button method: Define the xpos and ypos for the hover state of the button so that it is more centered than the idle state.

I hope this helps! ^_^

Thank you for your response, I dabbled a bit in it, and for some strange reason, I can achieve the look I want on the left side of the screen. The right however doesn’t work the same; the button seems to fall off the window. Do you know how to fix this? Thank you again. :)

You’re welcome! ^_^ Hmmm… That is strange! I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work on the right side of the screen. Try posting a thread on the LS forums, maybe someone can help you figure that out. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

Thank you nonetheless! ^^
